This story came out last summer in Cold Signal Magazine’s Pygmalion and Galatea issue. It’s a dual timeline story about a newcomer to a seaside community that is paying bloody homage to cosmic forces in hopes of forwarding their billionaire ambitions, and the far future folklorist trying to understand why the entire town fell into a giant sinkhole.
