I am pleased to present my zombies and sisters story in the latest Penumbric Speculative Fiction.

The wonderful editors at Reckon Review nominated my essay “Ten Steps to Getting Rid of the Ghost in Your House” for a Pushcart. You can revisit this piece about my grief over my dad here.

This flash in Occulum 13 is maybe the most disturbing and certainly the most romantic thing I’ve ever written.

I was standing in line in Starbucks when I got the acceptance email from my dream mag Bourbon Penn for this story and in my shock and delight I turned around and gave the old lady behind me all of the money in my pockets. It was kind of weird. So is this story.
